2. We Find Your Matches

Based on the information you provide, we'll show you a personalised list of community finance organisations you're eligible to join. Each organisation has different membership criteria, which might be based on where you live, where you work, or associations you belong to.

For each organisation, we provide clear information about their services, membership requirements, and how to get in touch. You can browse details about their loan products, savings options, and any additional support they offer.

Our organisation library also lets you explore all community finance providers across the UK, even if you haven't completed the matching process.

3. Connect Directly

Once you've found organisations that look like a good fit, you can visit their websites or contact them directly to join and apply for their services. Comuno is a search tool, not an application platform, so you'll complete any membership or loan applications directly with the organisations themselves.

Each credit union or CDFI has its own joining process and eligibility criteria. Most require a small initial deposit to open a savings account, and some have a short waiting period before you can apply for a loan.
